{"id":417,"date":"2023-09-23T18:01:13","date_gmt":"2023-09-23T18:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sehfou.org\/?p=417"},"modified":"2023-09-23T18:01:13","modified_gmt":"2023-09-23T18:01:13","slug":"back-to-school-2023-2024-academic-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sehfou.org\/index.php\/2023\/09\/23\/back-to-school-2023-2024-academic-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Back to School 2023\/2024 Academic Year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Serve Happiness Foundation (SEHFOU) and Voice of the Voiceless (VOV) put smiles to over 120 vulnerable children in the NW &amp; SW Region of Cameroon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SEHFOU and VOV through its support scheme encourage back to school, given the financial difficulties brought about by the sociopolitical crises in the Northwest and Southwest Region has on the 30<sup>th<\/sup> and 31<sup>st<\/sup> of August 2023, distributed didactic materials to 120 most vulnerable children, in Barombi-kang, Ediki , Mabonji, mile-16\u00a0 Buea \u00a0and \u00a0Nkwen- Bmaneda\u00a0 in the NW &amp; SW region of Cameroon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 120 most vulnerable children received learning materials consisting of (school bags, books, pens, pencils, rulers, and eraser) to kick start with the academic year 2023-2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0The beneficiaries, community leaders and teachers have expressed their sincere gratitude to SEHFOU and VOV for their timely intervention. According to the humanitarian need overview, April 2022, only 9percent of educational needs are met (19,097 out of 210,000) from displaced school aged population within the NW &amp; SW Region.
